Jailbreaking is the process of changing the software on your apple iphone or ipad. It allows many different pros than it does cons. First of all who wants to pay to upgrade apple software or apps. When I get my hair cuts I usually go to my sis-n-law Tiffany who has her own shop in Fort necessity. I'm not going to lie I get a little discount when I do, but for the most part I totally deserve it. The summer she started beauty school I had to shave my head at least four times lol. Thats what me and my brother got for being guinea pigs. At the end of that summer we were on her porch and she was going to cut my hair before school started. She had done a perfect job on a fade, but unfortunately when she was trimming my sideburns with no guard on the clippers her little sis said "Tiffany you missed a spot back here", and I ended up with a giant bald spot lol. She has been cutting hair a few years now and I believe she is one of the best unknown hair dressers in franklin parish. So when Tiffany is to busy my favorite place to get my hair cut in town is at Lisa Books on main street. She has done an amazing job fixing up the joint so it looks like your in a $100 haircut kinda place, but believe me her prices are very, very affordable. All the ladies that work in there are awesome at cutting hair, and my favorite thing is that they make you laugh from the moment you walk in to the time you leave. I walked in her shop to visit yesterday and told her I was going to blog about her, and lol the look on her face was priceless she said," is that good or bad".  I told her it can be either, but your you Ms. Lisa its an awesome thing.

Wii who? XBOX KINECTS!!!!!

I grew up in the nintendo day with my friends mario and Luigi. Then in 2000 the playstation 2 came out and everyone was amazed at the realistic graphics. When the Wii came out a few years back with motion control everyone went freakin bananas. Well my friends get ready for your heads to explode because the xbox kinect is just mind bottling (lol yea I said bottling watch zoolander).  If you were thinking of buying yourself or your kids a wii this Christmas definetly check out the xbox kinect first. Controllers who needs em with the kinect your body is the controller, no seriously. I was skeptic before it came out, but now that I've actually played it nothing else compares. For instance, on kinect adventures a game that comes packaged with the kinect. You have to guide a raft down a raging river and try to gather as many tokens as you can. To go left you stride left. To go right you stride right. To get over logs or other obstacles you jump literally jump, and the best thing is that it actually works perfect. It is just as much fun for grown folks than it is for kids. Car racing games just hold your hands up like your driving a car and it steers like your driving a car. The health and fitness games available force you to have correct posture in every exercise, and the dancing games well lets just say this white boy cant dance lol, although they are fun. I predict this is going to be one of the biggest selling items this Christmas so if you want one you better go ahead and get cause they will  be sold out. If you want your kids to get more exercise and they want to play video games this most definitely the way to go.

Group Efforts!

I don't know if people remember this or not, but Winnsboro used to be a pretty fun town. We had a skating rink, a bowling alley, and events all over town. Now we have a play at the princess every blue moon, the catfish festival once a year, and kids can go trick or treating in a specified cattle pin lol. I'm not saying im right because I don't know, but it just seems like 10% tax in a small town is a lot. I understand it takes a lot of money to keep a town running, but fixing potholes does'nt turn a town into mayberry. When I speak of winnsboro I'm talking about franklin parish as a whole. Everyone shops here so why cant we have some type of entertainment here. People wonder why drugs and alcohol are so rampant in our town well guess what "THERES NOTHING ELSE TO DO".  Am I the only one that realizes that hanging out on a parking lot should'nt be the big event of the weekend. LOL Sorry, I forgot  kids arnt allowed to do that anymore either. We need a rec center, a movie theater, or something positive for kids and teenagers. Hell grown folks too. When I went to ULM, my friends and I, spent dang near all of our free time in the rec center having a blast. Im a firm believer in religion, but times have changed and screamin in young folks face tellin them there going to hell just dont cut it anymore. I think we as a parish, young and old, need to come together and figure out a way to grow winnsboro without losing our small town charm. Remember winnsboro was once the cleanest town in America and now its not just dirty with litter, but with drugs and bitter residents.

First come first SERVE!

Alright this is my first blog, and I feel like I should create this for real people in real situations. Everyone who knows me knows that I work at walmart, go to college, and I be myself. So what the hell is wrong with all the people now days. I'm not talking about rednecks or black folks. I'm talking about everyone in general. For the life of me I can't understand why people are just so cruel. Everyone is always having a bad day, or just wants to be stuck up. Do we not believe in smiling and saying hello how you doin these days? I have bad days all the time and I don't take my frustrations out on the rest of the world. I reckon this first blog is about how people should be a little nicer to each other. Trust me, like I said, I work at wal mart and see it all day long. I grew up  barefoot on a gravel road, had a job since I was 15, and I'm still one of the happiest people you will ever meet. Some folks thinks just because they cant buy the newest gadget out there in the world so why not just steal it, and then rich folks buy 3 and its not enough for em. If your not happy with your life well guess what you can change it. If someone comes by you blaring loud music and you curse at em, and then you listen to the same music. GUESS what your a HYPOCRITE. One thing I wanna say is """"""STOP WORRYING ABOUT EVERYONE ELSE AND WORRY ABOUT YOURSELF""""". One example of this would be a few days ago I posted on facebook that TVs were on sale at wal mart. I was asked twice why I would advertise for wal mart and even called a suckass! I was'nt posting for wal mart I just figured my friends would like to know TVs were on sale. In 2011 I think everyone needs to make a resolution to do something good for someone else. It probably wont happen though because everyone is to worried about who is screwing who and who's on dope. If someone is in a bad place "such as abusing substances," try to help don't just talk about em is  all I'm trying to say. LOL this blog was inspired by recent events by me so don't give up hope yet hopefully I can make this a positive thing about local events, and inspiring situations.
